Shenley Brook End & Tattenhoe Parish Council Offices – Westcroft

HMB were appointed as Principal Designers for the construction of a New Headquarters and Offices for Shenley Brook End and Tattenhoe Parish Council, which was constructed on a greenfield site in a residential area

The building has a feature full height glazing to the entrance, two open plan office spaces for staff and public use and a new purpose-built council chamber with a vaulted acoustic ceiling and linked meeting room. The new environmental standards were followed which will result in lower running and maintenance costs for the Councils. It is hoped the new building and improved facilities will not only save the Council money but also be more accessible to the public

HMB provided Principal Designer duties. This included the production of Pre-Construction Information, submission of F10 documentation, attending Design and Site Meetings, and commenting on aspects of health and safety and buildability
